Why do Indian Women prefer Banarasi Silk over all other Sarees?

Traditionally Banarasi Silk is taken as apparel for auspicious festivals or religious occasions because of the pure threads and niceness of the fabric and ritual baked designs.

In many Indian cultures, specifically in weddings, Banarasi Silk Saree is prescribed for women as ‘Pattu SilkSaree’ or ‘Kanjivaram Silk Saree’ is the ritual of South Indian weddings. Banarasi Saree is a reflection of Indian culture as from a cocoon to the thread and loom, the Banarasi Silk goes through so many fine processes that make it unique and admirable.

Silk Sarees are made in different parts of the country but Banarasi Silk is the art of ancient Mughals-Indian or can be said as the Indo-Mughal Banarasi Silk. The idea of Banarasi silk is originated from the ancient Mughal Dynasty for the kings, queen, and royal imperial as a mark of royal and pride apparel.
